Draught of emotions, though ought not do...

For the flow flies in

Light, dark; white black

Or yellowblue,

From Diary...

Feeding pigeons at aunt's house

Grand day on!

'Tis the grand day on,

It's on...(factual)

A long day at school,

A longer day at school

After school,

And longer laughs

Passing the way home;

Mid-day meal

And from-home tiffin

And egg chow-mein,

All gulped in, delight added;

Blue light filtered

Through the newly hung

Shamianas, lamp-light

Cast by the eve-lighted

Street lamps, and unlighted

Dark corridors - eerie shadows

All seen, mythical;

Paintings worked on

Tense-joy prevailing,

Forms revealing -

Day unfolding...

The grand day.

"I'm GOD"

Declared one (man),

''You're not"

Protested else;

But some stood for 'im

And he went,

'O'er vales and hills'

To his destiny...

To be God.

Non-believer, that boy

Set out to be a-theist,

And become he did,

But something

Was amiss

He had an exam,

He studied hard;

He had results,

He couldn't tell.

Couldn't pray, couldn't wish...

When believers sat

With God on their lips;

Brains without resolve,

Co'idence without hope,

And 'twas equated...

But that boy fell;

Another rose

An atheist,

Who was sure

- Of himself. 

'Hail!'

“Hail!” An earnest voice resounded

All (or many) knelt.

The clamour of that voice

Ascended, its fringes bubbling

Offshoots emerged, that voice

Broadened – flooding

And then, its waves receded

To a staunch mingle,

Only to penetrate far

And hard, time interspersed...

  

Another voice burgeoned –

   Some(or, many) noticed.

   That voice, even, reverberated

Branching, yes, and then...

Voices fell hard on each other,

Not of themselves, rather

Off their tawdry limb(s),

Only to croak ... one loved, one left.
